Spacesuits SOKOL-М and SOKOL-МP

Currently, the “RD&PE ”Zvezda” JSC designs and develops new advanced rescue spacesuits, SOKOL-M and SOKOL-MP.

These spacesuits feature new materials and length-adjustment devices for spacesuit arms, legs and torso. These devices make it possible to use the SOKOL-M and SOKOL-MP by operators with various anthropometric parameters.

While designing a passenger spacesuit,SOKOL-MP, there was considered a version with a pressure-tight zipper and a new location for the spacesuit entry. It is also planned to use durable polyurethane and modified pressure gloves, thus reducing the spacesuit cost.
